“I Don’t Get Lonely”

It all begins with an idea. Martina was handed a now very different version of the instrumental for what would become “I Don’t Get Lonely” almost 8 months before the real work started on the song. Martina says she knew the song would be “a big, exciting dance song that needed the proper attention and love to be successful.” After many months of trying many different melodies, lyrics, and song structures, Stokes took a break from the tune. Martina returned to the track with a different mindset and came up with the concept for the song and wrote it start to finish within one hour.

“I Don’t Get Lonely” is an upbeat, dancy pop hit that celebrates independence and youthfulness. The summer anthem is an infectious anthem for every setting. Stokes claims this is her favorite track that she has released to date.
